That was so good， so so good And so damn fun The fact that i was going to drop it when I found that It was superheroes related BAFFLES ME because omggg again so goodBoth characters ahxhhshxjxysjxjshxjdysh I honestly can’t this was brilliant I can’t wait for MZ to get more into the “fantasy” world！！！And the animation， the last page I literally teared up😭😭😭

A fun read to get me out of a rut when nothing else sounded good。 A romance without being too much of a traditional romance book。 The superhero twist was a fun departure from Zapata’s norm。 Not a great literary work but that is not what I was looking for。 This is a great first love story that is playful and does the grumpy/ sunshine trope well。

This is so disappointing。I forgot that this was a romance because of how dry it was。 No plot， no vibes， just 700 pages of the same repetitive internal monologues。 Genuinely bored me tears。

great read！This book was a little different compared to what I read from Mariana before。 It’s slow moving， but with a plot that leaves you interested。 I would definitely recommend it to someone who is looking for a light read after reading such a heavy book previously。 It was exactly what I was needing。

Honestly， Mariana knows her way around a slow burn romance GAH！ The title of this book is so apt because the hero is HELLA grumpy （at first）。 The premise was so new and interesting to me because it’s about a superhero and all。 It was amazing。 The writing was impeccable。 The hero and the heroine had brilliant chemistry！ If you’re into a slow burn romance with superheroes in it， this one’s for you！

guys i really need to start writing book reviews again but it’s just so hard to sum up a book 😭😭this was definitely different from MZ’s other books but pretty goodplot was surprisingof course slow burn but honestly it was worth it - we got to work through trust issues and a lot of other stuff and got to see the characters actually start to like each other and become friends - often that can get overlooked and in some books when i actually think about it i’m like … do these characters actually li guys i really need to start writing book reviews again but it’s just so hard to sum up a book 😭😭this was definitely different from MZ’s other books but pretty goodplot was surprisingof course slow burn but honestly it was worth it - we got to work through trust issues and a lot of other stuff and got to see the characters actually start to like each other and become friends - often that can get overlooked and in some books when i actually think about it i’m like … do these characters actually like each others personalities？？ lots of sweet moments too felt like it was missing some action - he is after all a superhero and her backstory is the cause of a lot of stuff that happens but i felt like we needed more action in the second half to wrap up the book properly EDIT: I CANT BELIEVE I FORGOT TO ADD THIS BUT THE TWO MAIN PLOT POINTS THAT HAD SO MUCH SUSPENSE AND BUILDUP TOTALLY FIZZLED OUTlike they were so lameand the resolution of them was like ？？？ so random and made so sense i will say this is a good book to binge in the span of two nights 。。。more

For some books， even if they are lengthy， the story flows nicely and you don’t feel like the story stalls。It wasn’t the case for this book。 It did happen towards the end， but you only get there after pages and pages where nothing really happens。
